Fabric and plastic tapes consist of many layers of synthetic fabrics, specially treated to ensure low elongation (from 1 to 3.5%) and good adhesion. The longitudinal threads (warp) are polyester, while the transverse threads (weft) are polyamide.

This canvas combination provides a high tensile strength to weight ratio, excellent flexibility and excellent troughing properties, as well as high impact and chemical resistance.

Various grades are available, all with exceptionally high abrasion, shear and impact resistance and excellent aging properties.
